Man Who Murdered Family in Buffalo Creek Granted Day Parole

A Buffalo Creek man who was convicted as a teenager of murdering four people – including his parents – will be granted un-escorted day parole.

Thirty-four year old James Ruscitti – who murdered his parents, a boarder and the seventeen year old mother of his niece in 1996 – will be required to return nightly to the minimum security facility that he has called home since two thousand and ten.

Ruscitti will also be prohibited from contacting his remaining family members as a part of the conditions of his parole.

At age fifteen, Ruscitti pled guilty to four counts of first degree murder and was sentenced to four twenty-five year life sentences – nineteen years of which he has served before being granted parole
