Last day of Williams Lake Job Fair Thursday

The Williams Lake Job Fair will continue Thursday with more than 40 exhibitors at the Cariboo Memorial Complex.

“I’ve actually had a couple of people leaving the job fair say they got hired on the spot, so full-time positions and everything through some of the employers that are here,” she said.

“It is a really successful event-we’ve had some really good success stories here.”Job Fair_4_1007_2015

Sure says although the mines were unable to attend the fair due to layoffs, she encourages all individuals even if they are employed to attend the event.

The job fair which is held every 2 years, runs from 10 am until 3.
