The newly christened Northern Capitals Female Major Midget squad is on the road to start their season this weekend.
The team formerly known as the Cougars will feature a number of skaters from Cariboo says parent Cristy Mellott of 100 Mile House:
“We’ve got Cailey Mellott from 100 Mile. Then there’s Victoria Byer from Williams Lake and Tamara Williams – the goaltender – from Williams Lake. Then there’s Katie Young from Quesnel”
The Caps are in Surrey this weekend for a three game set with the Kootenay Wild with the first game slated for tonight at 6:30pm
