A motor vehicle incident last night in Lac La Hache saw injuries, a temporary road closure, and some significant property damage.
RCMP report that a car pulled out of a restaurant parking lot and was struck by an oncoming pickup truck towing a trailer
The injuries sustained were non-life threatening says RCMP Corporal Brian Lamb
“There were some minor injuries sustained by the driver of the vehicle that left Clancy’s. They were minor in nature, but the individual in question was transferred to hospital for care.”
Damage to the involved vehicles was severe and the highway was closed off for a short time while an investigation into the incident occurred.
