A seven pound, 11 ounce baby boy was the first baby of the New Year.
He came into this world at 4:11 am in Prince George.
Baby Kace was born at the University Hospital of Northern BC.
Jessica Penner and Kenneth Wray, both of Quesnel, are the proud parents.
