South Cariboo Voters Feeling Left Out

A last minute bid from local media outlets has fallen short meaning that there will be no all candidates forum in 100 Mile House prior to the October 19th federal election.

Candidates for the Kamloops-Thompson-Cariboo riding appeared for a forum in Clinton two weeks ago, but those in the 100 Mile House riding looking for a debate will have to drive to Kamloops.

It’s unfair to voters in 100 Mile House says Mayor Mitch Campsall who is disappointed by the development

I think that’s unfair and again, I think there should be something in 100 Mile House. It’s disappointing.

Voters willing to travel, with a craving for an all-candidates forum will have a chance October 14th in Kamloops as the Media Consortium Debate will take place at TRU’s Grand Hall at 7pm

Something going on in the Cariboo you think people should know about?
