Wranglers Add Size, Local Flavour

A 100 Mile House local is returning just in time to bolster a shorthanded Wranglers offense for the club’s weekend tour of the Kootenay’s

Cole Zimmerman is back from the Saskatchewan Junior ‘A’ league and should help add some size and skill to an already solid forward group says Coach Dale Hladun:

“I really think we have a good core of guys – especially with Cole coming back. I think he’s going to have a great year so we’ll get him in the lineup this weekend and see how he does.

Getting back the 6’3″ 175lb forward should be a major boon as the club embarks on a weekend road trip that will see them play three games in three days – all without scorers Brett Harris and Tyler Povelofskie who won’t be making the road trip.

The Wranglers visit Creston Friday night (7:30pm) followed by a Saturday trip to Fernie (7:30pm) and a Sunday matinee versus Columbia Valley in Invermere (1pm).
