The cyclist sustained severe injuries and was taken to hospital in Kamloops by air ambulance, and is in stable condition. RCMP are seeking witnesses to the incident to gather more information on the incident.

Highway 97 was closed near Lac La Hache after a pedestrian on a bicycle was struck by a vehicle.
The highway has closed both ways, and an air ambulance was called to the scene.
