Man en route to Quesnel still missing

A 56-year-old man who was en route to Quesnel still remains missing.

Surrey RCMP say David Robinson was reported missing on September 12th after not arriving at his destination.

Surrey RCMP’s Missing Person Unit has conducted an extensive investigation including following up on a number of tips from the public.

Officers have driven the stretch of roads and highways leading up to Quesnel and conducted extensive inquiries in these areas leaving missing person posters along the way. RCMP Air Services and Civil Air Search and Rescue have also been engaged and flown over these areas as well.

Police say there was a possible sighting of Robinson in Hope and officers have made extensive inquiries in that area to determine its validity.

Robinson is described as Caucasian, 5’11, 200 pounds with short blond hair (greying), blue eyes, mustache and may be wearing eyeglasses.

It is believed that Robinson left Surrey at approximately 1:30 pm on Sept. 11.

He was driving his Black Dodge Ram 3500 pickup, BC License plated BK016O and may have been traveling with his Rottweiler dog.

Anyone with more information is asked to contact the Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502 or Crime Stoppers.
