The financial secretary of the United Steelworkers Local 1-425 spoke the City of Williams Lake to enforce the Westray Amendments to Canada’s Criminal Code.
Robert Macnair, shares with us why the delegation, designed to punish corporations which fail to protect the health of their employees or the public, was shared last night.
Macnair says he thinks it is wrong that Canadians continue to be killed on the job, but not one corporate executive has faced a single day in jail.
