Cops for Cancer Tour De North gets underway in Dawson Creek

Three of Williams Lake’s finest will be part of the team riding in this year’s Cops for Cancer Tour De North.

Gregg Strom, Colby Hendrickson, and Daniel Cohen will be joined by Quesnel community rider Les Nylen.

This 850 kilometer tour lasting 7-days began Tuesday in Dawson Creek and ends in Williams Lake on Monday, September 21st.

But that doesn’t mean the fundraising part of this tour is over.

Cops for Cancer Co-ordinator Erin Reynolds says any organizations or businesses can hold fundraiser right up until January 2016 to add to the total raised so far.

After 14 tours, Cops for Cancer has raised $2.4 million dollars to help kids and their families facing cancer.
