2015 has been a very good year for the historic town of Barkerville.
Ed Coleman, the CEO, says their attendance numbers so far are the best they’ve had in at least five years…
“As of yesterday, we had 53,803 people whereas last year at this time we had 45,807,” he said.
“Our goal is to hit 60 thousand and we feel it’s achievable between now and when our full season contracts on September 27.”
In an effort to get to the 60,000 mark Coleman says admission at Barkerville will be by donation between Sept. 14 and Sept. 27.
