100 Mile House has added another trained therapist to its stable of medical options.
Catherine Patterson, who is registered as both a massage therapist and reflexologist, explains what reflexology is and what it can offer.
“The easiest way to explain it (reflexology) is: like acupressure but for the hands, feet and ears. It stimulates the nerve pathways in the body and helps the central nervous system rebalance itself.”
Patterson’s reflexology skills may get significant use as she now stands as the only registered reflexologist between Kamloops and Williams Lake.
