Sweet Success! Cariboo Dairy Queens raise over $17,000 for BC Children’s Hospital

The numbers are in from this year’s Miracle Treat Day.

One of the owners of the Williams Lake Dairy Queen, Janna Gertzen calls yesterday, which saw 100% of funds from very Blizzard sale going to the BC Children’s Hospital, a sweet success.

“We poured, flipped 2,057 Blizzards,” she says.

“We raised a total of $10,759.62 so we beat last year’s total by a significant amount which was awesome. The customers were great, my staff was great-everybody worked their butts off. It was fabulous.”

The Dairy Queen in Quesnel also outdid last year’s record selling 835 Blizzards and raising a total of around $4,726.86.

The 100 Mile House Dairy Queen sold 495 blizzards raising $2,192.06 which marks their 1st year taking part.
