Central Interior Hockey Action Continues

The defending champions are off to a good start to the Central Interior Hockey League season.
The Williams Lake Stampeders held off the visiting Quesnel Kangaroos 6-4 at the Cariboo Memorial Complex last night.
Matt Lees had 4 goals and an assist for the winners.
It was 5-2 Williams Lake before the Roos scored two quick ones to make it 5-4.
Lees then potted an empty-netter to seal the deal.
Nathan Zurak had a big game for the Stamps as well with a goal and 3 assists.
For Quesnel…Josh Macdonald and Tyrell Turgeon had a goal and an assist each.
The Stampeders are back in action tonight as they travel to Lac La Hache to take on the Tomohawks.
