Update Dec. 12, 7:20 am: A woman last seen last near Cariboo Memorial Hospital in Williams Lake is safe.
RCMP Staff Sgt. Del Byron says 21-year-old Kendra Shorter was located Wednesday at 10:25 pm.
“The William Lake RCMP want to thank the public for their assistance,” Cst. Joel Kooger said.

Kendra Shorter was last seen in Williams Lake near Cariboo Memorial Hospital.
Shorter is described as:
- 5’3” tall
- weighing around 160 pounds
- with dull, light brown hair longer than shoulders
She was wearing pink shoes, black pants, and a light blue “Roxy” jacket.
