Skyfest: 1st Regular Performance Saturday Morning

The first regular performance of Quesnel’s International Airshow will take place Saturday.

The gates will open at 8 am with a preshow at 10 and opening ceremonies at 11-30.

Media Spokesperson Sharon McDonald says tickets are available at the gate.

McDonald says it’s an even bigger and better show this year…

“There’s the 3 military teams one being the Snowbirds-of course everyone loves the Snowbirds, and the CF-18 which is also an incredible show and this year we have the Canadian Skyhawks which is the precision parachute team.”

McDonald says around 8,000 people took in Skyfest back in 2013 and they are expecting as many as 15,000 this year.
