100 Mile House RCMP Searching for Suspect in Grocery Assault

100 Mile House RCMP are on the lookout for the individual who, after being caught shoplifting, assaulted a grocery store employee with crutches before fleeing in the back of a nearby truck.

The woman in question is described as being in her mid to late 20’s and having long, dark hair, glasses, and crutches.

The police may have a lead on this woman’s whereabouts but still welcome any information the public might have says, Corporal Clint Lange

 “We have information about a vehicle that the person left in, and we do have the registered owner’s information. So, we’re hoping that this person (the vehicle owner) would be able to shed some light on who the individual is who committed these offences.”
