Successful Billy Barker Days for Quesnel RCMP

It was a relatively quiet Billy Barker Days for the Quesnel RCMP.
They investigated a total of 183 files between Thursday and Sunday which was down from 231 last year. However, more people ended up behind bars…89 compared to 72 last Billy Barker Days.

RCMP say the bulk of the in custody cases were for being intoxicated in public.

No major incidents have been reported.

RCMP Traffic Services issued a total of 145 violation tickets over the four days.

One person was arrested for Impaired Driving, there was one 12 hour suspension, two 24-hour suspensions, and two 3-day suspensions.
