A Williams Lake motorist was fortunate in not sustaining injuries to them-self or others for that matter after their vehicle went off the road and crashed into a tree Wednesday evening.
RCMP say they responded to a report from a motorist that a driver had crashed their Honda Civic into a tree at 10:07 pm on Bluff View Rd. and was observed to have been running out of the vehicle.
The individual who was not injured was arrested.
Police say an impaired driving investigation is currently underway.
