Prince George Man Wanted on Canada Wide Warrant

The Prince George RCMP are requesting the public’s help in locating a man wanted on a Canada Wide Warrant.

On Wednesday, July 8th a Canada Wide Warrant for Being Unlawfully at Large was issued for 39-year-old Shane Michael Grant.

The arrest warrant was issued after Grant failed to meet the conditions of his release by missing curfew at his designated residence in Prince George.

Grant has an extensive Criminal Record in many communities across Western Canada including Vancouver, Surrey, Victoria, Kamloops, Kelowna, Calgary, Strathmore, Edmonton, and Regina.

Grant should be considered VIOLENT.

Grant is described as:

  • Caucasian male
  • 180 cm (5’11”)
  • 87 kg (194 lbs)
  • Bald (blonde)
  • Blue eyes
  • He has a memorial tattoo on his right forearm

If located, contact the RCMP or the police of jurisdiction in your area.  Do not confront Grant.

A garbage truck caught on fire on Larch Avenue off Highway 97 in South Quesnel. The Quesnel Fire Chief says the driver of the truck was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation, but otherwise is okay.
