A 41-year-old Bella Coola resident faces numerous charges after a home invasion.
RCMP from Bella Bella, Williams Lake, Kamloops, and Anahim Lake were called to assist Bella Koola RCMP on Saturday evening following a 911 call of a home invasion.
41-year-old Nathan Duperron allegedly entered a residence on Sawmill Road with a sawed-off shotgun and demanded money from the homeowners.
RCMP say Duperron surrendered to police without incident near the local harbor.
Duperron faces 13 charges and is scheduled to appear in Vancouver Provincial Court on Thursday.
Bella Coola RCMP asks anyone with information regarding any suspicious activity of Duperron prior to the invasion to contact them.
