Emergency Crews Respond to Single Vehicle Rollover South of Williams Lake

Update Thursday, June 20: Treacherous road conditions are believed to be a factor in a single vehicle crash Wednesday morning south of Williams Lake.

A pickup on Upper Dog Creek Road near Alkali Lake is reported to have gone off road down an embankment at 8:17 am.

The four occupants, one adult and three children, sustained for the most part minor injuries said Williams Lake RCMP Staff Sgt. Del Byron.

The adult woman was transported to Kamloops Royal Inland Hospital via air ambulance.

“They are all going to do okay,” Byron said.

No charges are expected as a result of the incident.

Original Story Wednesday, June 19: One person is believed to be seriously injured following a single vehicle rollover on Upper Dog Creek Road near Alkali Lake.

Williams Lake RCMP Staff Sgt. Del Byron said Wednesday morning that a medevac helicopter would be landing at Esket School.

The incident occurred after 8 am.
