Quesnel RCMP confirms the body of a missing man has been located.
On June 14, 2015, at 10:53 am Quesnel RCMP received a complaint of a possible motor vehicle incident on Baston road where it crosses the Quesnel River.
An investigation revealed that a vehicle may have left the roadway and entered the Quesnel River but police cannot confirm this information at this time.
A license plate was located at the scene and the owner of the plate was unaccounted for.
On Monday, June 22, 2015, the registered owner of the license plate found at the scene was located deceased in the Hope-Agassiz area.
Foul play is not suspected.
