2 Vehicle Crash at Intersection in Quesnel results in injuries

Two people were transported to hospital after a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Anderson Drive and Lewis Drive yesterday afternoon.

At 4:47 p.m. on Tuesday, June 23 the RCMP responded to a two-vehicle crash involving a roll-over on Anderson Drive.

A 2012 Ford Fusion was heading west on Anderson Drive when a 1999 GMC pickup driven by a 20 year female from Quesnel proceeded to turn eastbound onto Anderson from Lewis Drive.

The Fusion, driven by a 65-year-old male, also from Quesnel, struck the pickup on its side causing it to roll over.

The driver of the pick-up and a 21-year-old male from Kersley, who was a passenger in the pick-up, were transported to hospital where they were later released after being treated for minor injuries.
