CRD To Host Info Fair Tonight In The North Cariboo

North Cariboo residents will have an opportunity today (May 14)  to meet with Electoral Area Directors, CRD staff and several different agencies.

Communications Manager for the CRD Emily Epp explains.

“The event is meant to bring a bunch of agencies together so that residents can come out and chat with a variety of different agencies, get lots of information all in one spot.”

Epp says these info sessions are held annually and moved around to different Quesnel communities in the North, Central and South.

Some of the agencies that will be there include the Ministry of Transportation, RCMP, Quesnel Emergency Support Services, Pet Safe Coalition Society of Canada, the United Way, Community Futures, the new Agriculture Development Advisory Committee, Ministry of Agriculture and some Natural Resource Officers.

The CRD’s North Cariboo Info Fair will begin with a Firesmart presentation at 5:30 this afternoon and is being held at the Barlow Creek Hall until 7 tonight.
