RCMP Investigating Incident in 100 Mile House

UPDATED: A man and a woman were arrested after 100 Mile House RCMP responded to a firearm complaint on Scott Road.

The report came in Tuesday (April 23) at about 8:30 am and indicated that a man and woman were arguing over a gun.

They were seen going to a neighboring residence. On arrival, RCMP arrested them and a firearm was seized.

Staff Sgt. Svend Nielsen says a residence is currently being held by RCMP for a search warrant and asks the public to avoid the area for the next few hours.

There were no injuries and the two remain in custody.

Nielsen says they do not believe there is a danger to the public.
