The final advanced voting day for the CRD Area F by-election was held yesterday in Williams Lake.
Chief Election Officer Alice Johnston said 18 people turned out to cast their votes at the CRD board room and a total of 14 voters took part in the first advanced voting day last Wednesday.
Johnston reminds eligible voters where they can vote this weekend.
“The next voting opportunity is the general voting day which is this Saturday, March 30th and we’ll have voting locations at the 150 Mile school, Horsefly Community hall, Big Lake Community Hall, Likely school and again at the CRD boardroom.”
And what if you missed the two advanced voting days and can’t make it Saturday to vote?
“We still have mail ballots available until four o’clock on Thursday, March 28th but if somebody is going to be in town and they want a mail ballot package they can certainly arrange that with us,” Johnston says.
Voters in the CRD Area F by-election are asked to bring two pieces of ID with them and if they require more information to check their website or to call their office.
