Crown Adds Charges Against A Williams Lake Shooting Suspect

More charges have been laid against the suspect in a shooting in Williams Lake.

28-year old Randi Saunders, in addition to two counts of Discharging a Firearm with Intent to Wound or Disfigure, is also facing one count each of Aggravated Assault, Assault with a Weapon, Use of a Firearm in the Commission of an Offence, Possession of a Prohibited Firearm and Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm.

Saunders is due back in court on April 10th.

The charges are in connection with an incident on Saturday, March 2.

Williams Lake RCMP say they were called to a residence in the 1100 block of Third Avenue North where they found a female suffering from a gunshot wound.

A suspect was arrested at the scene.
