Prelim Set in Graphic Assault Case in Prince George

A date has been set for a Preliminary Inquiry for a Prince George woman who is the accused in a graphic assault case.

26-year old Hailee Kowalchuk is due back in court on August 9, 2019.

She’s charged with one count each of Aggravated Assault, Assault and Failing to Comply with a Probation Order.

RCMP say they were called to a home on North Nechako Road just after 1:30 am back on January 25th where they found a woman missing a chunk out of her bottom lip.

The victim claimed that she was tied up and assaulted by a friend following a night of drinking.
