A GP For Me Forum Tonight

Family Doctors in the Central Interior are inviting residents to share their thoughts on primary health care tonight.

A community forum will take place in Williams Lake this evening as part of the Central Interior Rural Division’s participation in the province-wide A GP for Me Initiative.

Project manager, Jill Zimonick, says the forum will help the initiative that is funded by the Government of BC and Doctors of BC, better understand the needs of local communities and work to find solutions.

“At the end of this what we would like to have is an implementation plan that identifies 2 to 4 key issues for the area, and then the programming that could address those issues.”

The forum starts at 7 pm in Williams Lake at the Community Arts Centre.

A second forum will be held in 100 Mile House at the Horton Ventures Employment Centre tomorrow.
