It was a hard won victory for the 100 Mile House Wranglers last night in game 5 of the KIJHL Doug Birks division semi final.
The Wranglers defeated the Sicamous Eagles 3-2 in the third overtime period, taking the series 4-1 on home ice in 100 Mile House.
The stars of the game were the goalies, with Wranglers Goalie Jakob Gullmes stopping 41 shots and Eagles goalie Cole Steinke stopping an amazing 71 shots.
The Wranglers move on to the finals, taking on the Revelstoke Grizzlies. The Grizzlies swept their semifinal series against the Kamloops Storm 4-0.
