Wranglers Captain Out For the Series

The 100 Mile Wranglers lead their Doug Birks Division semifinal series 2-0 against the Sicamous Eagles, but they will play the rest of the series without their Captain.

Kolby Page will be out at least the rest of the series after being injured in Wednesday nights game.

“He took a heavy shot right into the ribs. They took him to the hospital, and they didn’t see anything break but they know its serious,” said Wrangler head coach Dale Hladun.

“They thought he’d be out at least four weeks. He’ll miss this series for sure.”

After Page was injured, the Wranglers hung his jersey at their bench for the rest of the game which the Wranglers took 4-3 in overtime.

The series shifts to Sicamous for two games with game three tonight. Puck drop is 7 pm.
