Another Quesnel athlete has won a medal at the Canada Winter Games in Red Deer.
Spencer Gamache won a silver medal in archery in the male individual compound.
Gamache ran the gauntlet to get there, knocking off three opponent earlier in the day, including a one point victory in the quarterfinals and a two point win in the semis.
Last week, Quesnel’s Ryan Elden won two medals in biathlon, gold in the individual 10-k pursuit and bronze in the relay.
Gamache will get another crack a medal tomorrow in archery’s mixed team event.
BC is up against Manitoba in the quarterfinals.
