Another Quesnel Athlete Narrowly Misses A Medal At The Canada Winter Games

For the second time this week a Quesnel athlete will narrowly miss the podium at the Canada Winter Games in Red Deer.

Katie Young and the BC ringette team lost 6-4 to Manitoba in the bronze medal game today.

They finish 4th overall.

On Thursday, Ryan Elden finished in the dreaded 4th spot in the 12 1/2 kilometer male individual biathlon race.

Elden did go home with a couple of medals however, a gold in the 7 1/2 k and a bronze in the relay.

Another Quesnel athlete will be in action at the games next week as Spencer Gamache will compete in archery.
