The list of 2019 nominees for the South Cariboo Citizen of the Year is out.
The South Cariboo Chamber of Commerce released the full list of business nominees as well as the citizen of the year earlier this week.
Chamber director Shelly Morton says “The criteria is that they have to live in the area, they volunteer, and they make a difference in somebody’s life. A number of our nominees are very well known and have been in the community for many years and we’re very happy they’ve been acknowledged for their time and effort”.
This years nominees for citizen of the year are:

Citizen of the Year Nominees final vote is cast by past winners.
Votes can be cast at the chamber office from February 27th to march 1st . The awards will be presented at the gala evening on march 2nd. The list of business excellence award nominees can be found on the chambers Facebook page here.
