The 19th annual Cowboy Concert took place in 100 Mile House over the weekend.
The concert performed to a sold out crowd Saturday afternoon at the Martin Exeter Hall. The second show took place Saturday evening. This years lineup featured Jason Ruchensky, Tim Hus with Spider Bishop, and Hugh McLennan, host of Spirit of the West.
MLA Donna Barnett was on hand to present the government proclamation declaring March 14-17 Cowboy Heritage week.
Organizer Mark McMillan of the BC Cowboy Heritage Society says that all proceeds from the concert go to support the Society’s scholarship programs.
