Green Lakes Snowmobile Hosting Snowarama Tomorrow

The Green Lake Snow Mobile Club will be hosting a Snowarama Sunday, Feb 17. to raise funds for the BC Lions Society for Children with Disabilities.

“This is something that we do every year, and we’ve been doing it for years now,” said Art Groves.

“All the net proceeds go to the kids so it’s for a very good cause.”

Registration starts at 10 am with the first sled out at 10:30. A 50/50 draw and concession will also be available

Groves said they generally have between 40 and 50 sleds.

“We’ll be doing a complete loop which goes out leaving the snowmobile club, goes around Tin Cup Moutain, and back down a couple of our trails and ends back at the club. So it does a complete circle and encompasses about 30 kilometers.”
