Quesnel Conservation Needs Your Help

Quesnel Conservation Officers are seeking the public’s help after a calf moose was poached out of season.

It was shot the night of January 27th or early morning on the 28th on the 500 road between the Barkerville Highway and the 2700 road, which leads down to the Gravelle Ferry off the Quesnel Hydraulic Road.

Conservation says the edible portions were removed and the entrails were left at the scene.

Anyone with information is asked to call the RAPP line at 1-877-952-7277.

You will remain anonymous.
