Fire destroys mobile home on Hodgson Road in Williams Lake

Fire destroyed a mobile home in Williams Lake early Tuesday morning.

Fire Chief Des Webster says they were called to the 500 block of Hodgson Road at around 4:45.

He says there was very little they could do to save the home as it was already fully involved by the time they were notified…

“A passerby saw it and called it in.”

“When the first truck arrived there were flames coming through the roof and several windows in the structure. There were no injuries and there was no one home.”

Webster says the trailer, which also had an addition, is a complete write-off.

He says because there was so much damage he doubts that they will ever know what caused the fire.
