Quesnel RCMP Crime Reduction Unit Hard At Work

Quesnel RCMP have made several arrests in connection with a number of property crimes in the area.

Sargeant Chris Riddle says it was the work of both the Quesnel RCMP Crime Reduction Unit as well as General Duty units…

“Our members have been out conducting targeted enforcement, following up with known offenders and have even caught individuals in the act of committing property crimes. Several of these individuals were also in breach of previous court imposed conditions of their release.”

Riddle says at this point they can’t say if these individuals were responsible for the recent rash of vehicle break-ins in Quesnel, but he does say that these individuals are known to commit those types of property crimes.

Once again, he reminds vehicle owners to remove items from plain view in their vehicles when parked and report suspicious activity immediately to the Police.

Riddle says they are now working with the BC Prosecution Service to determine new charges for these individuals.
