A much-anticipated gazebo at Kiwanis Park in Williams Lake will be getting some finishing touches after those involved in the project gathered together for a photo in front of the structure Friday morning.
President of the Kiwanis Club, Alison Sutherland-Mann calls it a true community project.
The gazebo which had been in the works for over 3 years, was installed and assembled by Durfeld Log and Timber.
Sutherland-Mann, says they are now awaiting for picnic tables to be put under the gazebo and adds that they will also be putting up plaques of the past Presidents of the Kiwanis Club in August.
