Relay-For-Life Cancelled in 100 Mile House

100 Mile House will follow the Lake City’s lead as their Relay-for-Life event has been officially cancelled.

A lack of interest is the reason cited by Community Giving Coordinator Jennifer Harbaruk who explains that the Cancer Society aims to be efficient with its dollars

There isn’t any doubt that Hundred Milers support the cancer society, but relay-for-life may not be the ideal venue for the support that exists says Harbaruk.

Quesnel plans to host the sole Relay Event for the Cariboo later this month, on Saturday the 30th and has already raised over 36,000 dollars.
