Optimism is in the air throughout the province that students will be back to school on Monday.

School District 27 Superintendent, Mark Thiessen, shares with us what the day will look like should members of the BCTF ratify the tentative provincial agreement.

“We expect that school will start on Monday. It will be a half day for all students in grades 1 to 12.”

Thiessen says school for kindergarten students meanwhile will be a gradual entry over the week and parents will be contacted.

Word on if the agreement will be ratified is not expected to be known until later tonight.
