Bonnell to Re-Run

A Williams Lake City Councillor has announced his intention to seek re-election.

Long time resident and current Councillor of Williams Lake, Ivan Bonnell says he looks forward to getting into the race to serve the community and is up for the challenge.

“This term of Council,  we have had a lot of challenges before it…We’ve just started getting the wrinkles ironed out…I think there is more work to be done.”

Bonnell shares some key issues that he would like to see be addressed:

“We’ve still got work on our finance and our infrastructure, volunteer support in the community; those are some of the big issues…getting some new development would always be helpful but that’s going to more timeline for that to get accomplished than quick.”

Voting to decide who will represent Williams Lake City Council and also Mayor, will be determined on Nov. 15.
