Conservative Budget Announced

The 2015-16 federal budget was announced today in Ottawa and with it were some expected and some unexpected items.

We had a chance to speak with Cathy McLeod, the Member of Parliament for Kamloops-Thompson-Cariboo about what she felt was important to her constituents in the budget

McLeod is especially excited about what the budget will do for small businesses especially in the South Cariboo

Other parts of the budget highlighted by the Member of Parliament were the extension of compassionate leave, and loosening of restrictions on access to certain retirement funds.
