A couple of decorated Quesnel cowboys were among the winners at the annual Indoor Rodeo in Williams Lake.

Steve Lloyd, a former Canadian Tie-Down Roping champion, was first overall with a time of 9 and 4 for $733.00.

And Steve Hohmann, many times a BC Rodeo Association champion, shared the Saddle Bronc title with a 72 on a horse appropriately named ‘Payday.”

Hohmann was paid $821.00.

Other Quesnel competitors also brought home winnings.

Mariah Mannering won the Ladies Barrel Racing for the 2nd weekend in a row.

Her winning time of 14-047 paid $1080.00.

Richard Glassford earned more than $916.00 dollars for taking first in the Breakaway Roping, Taylor Cherry won both the Junior Breakaway Roping and the Junior Barrel Racing while Tyler Cherry captured the Junior Steer Riding.

One other result of note…Kyle Lozier from 150-Mile was the runner-up in the Bull Riding.
