Warm weather and a four-day weekend meant for a continuation of heightened tourism numbers in the South Cariboo.
As per usual, 100 Mile House served as a stopping point for those travelling over the weekend says Val Streber, an information counselor with the centre.
Though it’s slowed down a bit this week, the tourism numbers for the first quarter of 2015 are up over 200% in the South Cariboo on the whole.
