Bowlers donned masks and took to the lanes this weekend in Williams Lake to raise funds for a big cause.
Executive Director for Big Brothers and Big Sisters, Melissa Newberry calls this year’s Bowl for Kid’s Sake Maskarade a success.
“We had such a fun weekend! We added a Friday night time frame for the first time and we had 70 teams registered to participate in this event.”
“Our grand total was $40,153.95.”
Newberry says the next fundraising event which goes towards mentoring programs for Big Brothers and Big Sisters, will be their Tour de Cariboo ride taking place on Sept. 12.
