7 weeks: DeGagne v. City of Williams Lake trial results to be known

Seven Weeks.
That’s how much longer the City of Williams Lake will have to wait before they know a final ruling for a civil claim for wrongful dismissal.
Mayor Walt Cobb says it’s always been a concern expenditure as the City continues to work on finalizing their 2015 budget.
Depending on the ruling, Cobb says the City maybe looking at taking the funds out of reserve accounts.
Donald DeGagne had filed a civil claim against the City alleging suffered mental stress and anxiety suffered as a result from being told he was not the best fit one day prior he was to fill the vacant CAO position on March 1st, 2013.
